Silver Bar Studios hosted it’s first event in support of Becker Avenue’s Innaugural Music Walk on August 28, 2021.
The swirling, atmospheric electronic sounds of Head Crushing Machine drew a crowd of curious and sophisticated listeners from blocks away into the entrance of what will soon be the gallery. As they witnessed the masked performers, the audience grew bigger, and after a break, the performers allowed their audience to wear the masks for an improvisational photo shoot. It was the best part of the day.
With demolition and new construction is still in the works, and no electricity in the building, we were fortunate to be permitted to use the power provided from the City of Belen latest improvemnets to the East side of Becker Avenue, through their Main Street Project.
We are very grateful to be a part of this important event. It will be the first of many to come.
