The original Silver Bar + Cafe on the corner of Becker and 1st circa 1938. Fred Hawkins Barber Shop and Acme Cleaners were the first businesses in our current gallery space. We liked the name Silver Bar, so we named our space Silver Bar Studios and designed our first sign as a nod to the original historic sign.
